Processing Plants
SCHLÜTER & MAACK operates its own modern and highly efficient cleaning facilities for mustard seeds and pulses. Basically we store, process and control all products in our own plants.
In Hamburg – from where we supply the European industry – we have the ability to provide very high purity – featuring the latest in seed cleaning technology including new generation color-sorters and metal-detectors. Through this process we are able to ensure the utmost in product safety and quality to our customers. Our facility is FSSC 22000 certified and has been approved in various customer audits.
In 2013 Schlüter & Maack started their own receiving and processing plant in Regina / Canada – the center of the growing region. This allows us to contract with local farmers, to receive product directly from growers and to monitor quality from field. Through continuous investments we can assure, that our plants remain state-of-the-art and thus comply with the highest standards of food safety.
Quality Management
For a supplier of raw material to the food industry, stringent and thoughtful quality management is the most important task – next to assuring timely availability of the product.
Our company is certified according to the standard FSSC 22000, which testifies the effectiveness of our quality management. Also in the future we remain firmly committed to a high quality standard of monitored processes. We have addressed this commitment with an in-house specialist in food technology. We assure compliance with our customers’ quality requirements through close contact with our partners at origin and with regular audits of origin processing plants.

With our certificates such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, Kiwa BCS organic-guarantee etc. we meet the contemporary quality standard and ensure the safety of our food raw materials continuously.
